Android 12 Causing Touch Response, App Crashing Issues for Some Google Pixel Phone Users


Android 12 is apparently causing app crashes and touch response issues for some Google Pixel phone users. The Android update that Google released earlier this week after some anticipation was to enhance the user experience with Google’s new Material U design language and several built-in improvements. However, some users have reported online that soon after updating their Pixel phones to Android 12, they are experiencing lag and other annoying problems including an unresponsive touchscreen. The issues are not limited to a particular model but are affecting most recent Pixel phones.

Some affected users informed of Their problems on the Google Help Forum. A large number of users have mentioned that after installing Android 12, they began to notice touch unresponsive on their Pixel phones. Some other people have complained apps are crashing After moving to the latest Android version. There are also some users who started watching battery drain problem Along with other issues on their Pixel models after the Android 12 update.

Along with user complaints on Google support forums, some users have also taken to Twitter to talk about problems they encountered after updating their Pixel phones to Android 12.

The issues don’t seem to be limited to a specific Pixel model, although the majority of complaints available on the web suggest that problems are emerging in recent Pixel phones, including Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5g, And Pixel 5.

Google Haven’t acknowledged any issues with Android 12 yet. However, product experts on the Google Help forums have recommended some affected users to switch to Safe Mode to determine if the problems are coming from a third-party application. It does not seem that this has helped the users to a great extent.
