Google Search Adds Feature to Make Learning New Words a Daily Habit on Its App


Google is introducing a new feature to expand vocabulary and increase users’ language proficiency. The internet giant has added a new feature to its app that allows users to learn a new word every day. The latest feature allows users to sign up to receive daily notifications with a new word every day and has some interesting facts behind it to pique the curiosity of the users. Additionally, Google says that “integrity” was the most searched English definitions worldwide in September, followed by “introvert,” according to Google Trends.

Google on 21st October announced New Google search Feature via a blog post. with him google app On your phone, you can sign up to receive daily notifications that help you use the latest to master new words and some interesting facts about them. Users can open the Google app on their smartphone to view the definition of any English word. Once the user searches for a definition, entries will appear with a ‘bell’ icon on the top-right corner. Clicking on the icon will activate the feature. The update is currently limited to the Google app on the phone.

The Google Search feature that helps users learn new words is currently only available in English. Google says there are words designed for both English learners and fluent speakers alike. Soon, users will also be able to choose different difficulty levels to choose from.

Google has recently added several new features to its platform. In a similar development, the search giant introduced An instrument tuner for its search engine released earlier this month. Easy Instruments lets users tune the guitar using their device’s microphone. The inbuilt tuner works like any other guitar tuning app. Instrument Tuner can be accessed by simply typing “Google Tuner” into the Google search bar.
