Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and decided to bowl against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. Ishan Kishan and Jimmy Neesham have returned to the playing XI for Mumbai Indians in place of Quinton de Kock and Krunal Pandya. Mayank Markande and Akash Singh are out of the Rajasthan Royals playing XI as Shreyas Gopal and Kuldeep Yadav have been kept in the squad. Both the teams are tied on points after 12 matches but RR are ahead in the points table thanks to a better net run-rate. Rajasthan are coming into the game after a 7-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and all-rounder Shivam Dubey stole the show with their quick-witted innings. Jaiswal scored a half-century against CSK in just 19 balls while Dubey scored 64 runs and remained unbeaten in the chase of 190. Mumbai Indians lost their previous match against Delhi Capitals (DC) by 4 wickets after another batting failure. Either team can reach the playoffs if they win their remaining two matches including this clash. (live scorecard)
