Several social media apps such as Snapchat, Spotify and Alphabet’s Google Cloud appeared to be back online on Tuesday after a brief global outage.
Google It’s Said Issues With Cloud Networking, That Matters Etsy, Spotify, And crack As customers, it was partially resolved soon after thousands of users flagged it on the outage tracking website downdetector.com.
Spotify said it “is aware of some issues right now and is investigating them.” More than 50,000 users had reported issues on Downdetector, but those disruptions have been resolved, according to the website.
Snapchat Support earlier said in a tweet, “Many Snapchatters are having trouble using the app. Wait, we’re working on a fix. In the meantime, we recommend staying logged in.”

Increasingly, the cloud company behind a major global Internet outage in June said it was seeing increased errors with Genesis in “general cloud provider, unrelated to Fastly’s Edge cloud platform”.
DownDetector only tracks outages on its platform by combining status reports from a range of sources, including user-submitted errors. The outage may have affected a large number of users.
