Disney+ Hotstar Testing Rs. 49, Rs. 199 Mobile Plans in India, Users Report


Disney+ Hotstar has started testing two new mobile plans in India that aim to attract new customers by providing access to over-the-top (OTT) content for as little as Rs. 49 a month, according to user reports. The new plans are said to be limited to select payment methods. Disney+ Hotstar also offers its annual plans that start at Rs. 499 per year for mobile users. The streaming platform also has Rs. 899 “Super” plan and top-of-the-line “Premium” plan Rs. 1,499.

The plan brings a validity of six months and provides access to all Disney+ Hotstar content in HD (720p) quality. The report added that the content will also feature advertisements in sports and movies.
