HP Leads Western Europe’s PC Market in Q3 2021, Apple Retains Top Spot in Tablet Segment: Canalys

According to a report published by Canalys, HP shipped a total of 4.4 million PC units to Western Europe to lead the market in the third quarter of 2021. This report shows that the overall PC market in Western Europe saw a 21 percent year-on-year growth during this period. HP topped the PC segment and its shipments accounted for 27 percent of the market. Lenovo came in second with 4.1 million units shipped, up 25 percent. Canalys expects the market to grow further in the region in 2022 despite concerns about supply constraints. It added that the demand for hybrid working conditions and high-specification systems will protect the market from future disruptions.

Apple posted 33 percent growth, while all other major vendors took a hit during the quarter. Apple dominated the segment with 45 percent market share thanks to the performance of its latest iPad.
