Three new features of the Realme GT 2 Pro were announced by the Chinese tech giant on Monday as “world’s first innovations” in the smartphone industry. These innovations pertain to the design, photography and communication of the Realme GT2 Pro. Realme has collaborated with a renowned industrial designer in the past and continues to partner for new flagship smartphones as well. The rear camera setup of the Realme GT 2 Pro will also feature an ultrawide camera with 150-degree field-of-view. In addition, the flagship smartphone also features an innovative antenna switching technology.

The first of the three innovations includes a permanent design for the paper-inspired Realme GT 2 Pro. Realme has dubbed its new design language as “Paper Tech Master Design”. The Chinese tech giant has previously partnered with renowned Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa for its Master Edition smartphone and extended the partnership for its new flagship smartphone. The back panel of the smartphone is made from bio-polymer material by SABIC.
To further its eco-friendly approach, Realme has also adopted a new box that uses less plastic. As a result, the overall plastic ratio has dropped from 21.7 percent to 0.3 percent.

Realme has also given a new ultrawide sensor to the upcoming Realme GT 2 Pro. The new sensor gets a 150-degree field-of-view, which is 273 percent higher than the 89-degree field-of-view in the primary wide sensor. Enhanced field-of-view is implemented using the new fisheye mode. The new camera mode is claimed to make photos more attractive with its “ultra-long depth of field effect”.

The new Realme GT2 Pro is equipped with Antenna Array Matrix System which includes the world’s first “Ultra Wide Band Hypersmart Antenna Switching” system that employs 12 wrap-around antennas covering all sides of the smartphone. The system claims to support mainstream bands with equal signal strength in almost all directions. This allows the smartphone to automatically select the best network band by evaluating the signal strength.
Apart from the antenna switching system, the Realme GT 2 Pro will also get Wi-Fi enhancer and 360-degree NFC support. The former uses a symmetrical antenna design with a claimed 20 percent improvement in signal stability around the phone. 360-degree NFC employs the top two network antennas that are claimed to increase the coverage of NFC by up to 500 percent and the sensing distance by 20 percent.
